So how much is Gonzales asking for in the civil suit? I don't really see any way she could lose it, unless she's asking for millions of dollars that Casey doesn't have (yet, anyway...) As far as being paid for interviews and book and movie deals, I think the public's interest only lasts so long, and if she's gonna go for it, she'd do well to do it now. Her 15 minutes was over a long time ago.

Taking the 5th is so stupid for her to do. It doesn't accomplish anything but make her look like more of a liar than we already know she is. She should have just told the truth and faced the music, but we all know that is something she will never do.

I thought if you invoked the 5th, you couldn't answer any of the questions....I don't think you can pick and chose which ones you answer, either all or none.

Send Casey Anthony to Italy for murder trial. Baez cannot practiceLaw in Italy. She would have to accept an Attorney that can practice law in Italy. She would fit right in with other convicts in the prisons in Italy.

Throw her back into jail with the general population for not answering the questions. This time, leave her there. I can't get over the fact that she's still getting all this special treatment. She's a waste of space and air.

Ms. Gonzalez needs to sue the police or some other entity with her litigious attorney. Anthony could not help it that she was harassed by "officials". She does not have the name, looks or occupation Anthony alleged. Get a life.

I'm not a lawyer so I might be missing something, but you're supposed to be able to plead the 5th Amendment as long as it pertains to questions about you as it pertains any potential crime you might have committed. You have the right not to answer because it might incriminate yourself.

This is only going to backfire for Anthony as far as the court of public opinion goes. You also have to figure that there is a lot of evidence that shows Anthony claiming that a Zenaida Gonzales kidnapped Caylee. There's also items that suggest that Casey pulled Gonzales' off of a guestbook listing for an apartment complex. There's enough here to where, if argued successfully, the court could find against Casey in this situation. If Anthony had just pulled this out of a phone book then it wouldn't be so bad but she said that it specifically was a Gonzales at a specific apartment complex. To make matters worse, Anthony listed Gonzales' FULL NAME and it's not that common of a name. Anthony was just specific enough in her accusations that this could really come back to haunt her.

From what I've read about Gonzales, she really had her life made miserable for her after Anthony started suggesting that someone by her name kidnapped her baby. Not only was she extensively talked about on the news, but she also lost her job because her employers thought she had something to do with Caylee's disappearance. As long as Gonzales doesn't go overboard with the amount she's asking for, she has a good chance of winning.

Ummm. Her lies are automatic and continuous. She doesn't even realize it. She talked to her parents many times after her arrest, it was even taped and broadcast.

No kidding.. weren't her jailhouse videos of her talking to her parents after Oct, 2008? She is so caught up in lies she doesn't know what is what.

As for your probation, get a job. How are you paying your monthly probation, paying for cost of living, etc, if you are truly "alone in the world?" Georgiegirl- You can answer. However, when you plead the fifth you are basically saying you won't answer the particular question because you will incriminate yourself, etc. You can answer others posed.

Isn't "telling the truth" a part of her probabtion, if she lies during the deposition, wouldn't she be carted back to jail? Maybe that's why her attorney's want her to keep her mouth shut. I also heard that she was mad about having to do this deposition – what did she think it was going to disappear – anyway she has only one person to mad at, that's herself! SHE put herself in this position, no one else is to blame.

I just dont understand why she (Casey) can seem to get away with everything.She dosent have to give account about what happened to Caylee.Is that murder solved no.Casey can tell all kind lies and she gets to be protected under the law. Sorry to disappoint but Zenaida Gonzales is going to have to prove damages and most of hers have already been debunked – its not like Caylee naming her caused her to lose something significant, even the claim of her crappy job has been shown to be false – Casey maybe guilty but Zenaida has no damages and is just another scum sucker like everyone else involved in this case, she won't get anything.

She has yet to tell the truth on anything, even in the deposition where she claims she has not spoken to her parents since 2008. Casey and Baez appealed her convictions because of the looming depositions. In that way she could claim the 5th and remain silent thereby keeping it all for "the interview". JMO. Who would want to interview her if she's already spilled to the public during these videotaped hearings? Cunning!

The parallels of Casey Anthony and Amanda Knox are interesting and very telling. Same age. Both are cute. Both in jail for 3 yrs then let out. BIG DIfference, however are the demeanors: Casey has to sneak out in the middle of the night while keeping eye level down. She has nothing to do with family and friends and continues to hide and lie. AK on the other hand didn't have to sneak out. Got up in front of everyone to speak the second she landed in the US. Smiles freely and is now with her loving family and friends, happy and willing to discuss the case. One is guilty – the other isn't. Not rocket science here.
