Dr. Murray’s complicated love life

Posted: 03:27 PM ET

Doctor Conrad Murray was juggling at least three women at the time of Michael Jackson’s death. In June 2009, Dr. Murray was dating a dancer, Michelle Bella, a waitress from Houston, Sade Anding, and was living with an waitress/actress, Nicole Alvarez.

Of the women in his life at the time, it seems Dr. Murray was closest with Alvarez, the mother of his 7th child. Alvarez was also on the receiving end of Dr. Murray's propofol shipments.

She told the court that while Dr. Murray had told her to expect the deliveries, he never said what they contained and she never opened them.  Documents introduced as evidence showed FedEx made deliveries to her apartment on April 26, May 1, May 13, May 15, June 11 and June 16 in 2009.

Alvarez testified that she frequently signed for the packages, which were sent to the Santa Monica apartment she was renting. Alvarez said Dr. Murray was paying her rent for that apartment, at $2,500 a month.

Earlier, prosecutors called Bella to the stand to ask about her relationship with Dr. Murray and contact with him on the day Jackson died.

She testified that she had met Dr. Murray at the Spearmint Rhino gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas in 2008 and began a relationship with him. She also said that the night she met Dr. Murray she sat with him for about an hour and half, and was paid about $1,000 for her time.

Prosecutor Debra Brazil focused on a voicemail message Dr. Murray left on Bella’s phone the morning before Jackson died. Bella said she felt Dr. Murray sounded tired in the message, but she just chalked this up to him being a doctor and working odd hours.

The next woman to take the stand was Anding.  It's believed she was on the phone with Dr. Murray at the moment he realized Jackson had stopped breathing.

Brazil introduced Anding’s phone records into evidence that indicated that Dr. Murray called her at 11:51 a.m. on the day Jackson died. Anding testified that it was “five or six minutes into the call” when she first realized Dr. Murray was no longer on the phone. She heard unrecognizable mumbling and some coughing in the background before the line went silent.

Complete coverage of the Conrad Murray trial live on HLN from gavel to gavel and on In Session from 9a to 3p ET every week day.

Is it possible that MJ could have grabbed a bottle of that Propofol and dropped it in the bag of the saline himself or whatever was in the iv bag? Im mean is it possible that he was wanting that drug and the Dr stepped out and MJ not thinking it would kill him but was just being a fiend and did it? Would that give him time to lay back on the bed before the drug hit his system?

What doctor wouldn't sustain a patients life ,if making 150,000 a month? This could effect their livelihood ,if the patient died. Conrad Murray did exactly what Jackson wanted him too.

I can't believe that "Dr." Murray even attempted to use Propofol when it's quite clear he was not qualified to do so. The thing that makes me the most upset is, even IF and I'm saying IF MJ did give himself the Propofol, then Dr. Murray was certainly NOT doing his job. He knew or at least suspected MJ had a problem with meds but he still allowed MJ access to his own meds? What kind of responsible Dr. does that. He made a recording of his own patient and continued to ordered the medication that killed him. What if one of MJ's children would have gotten into his meds? Dr. Murray should never allowed MJ to have his access to any meds without Dr. Murray giving them to him. After all, isn't that why you have a personal Dr. Also, I think his live-in girlfriend is sooooo trying to cover for him and acting like this is a joke. I wonder what meds Dr. Murray prescribes to her to keep her "instrument" in proper shape. She looked like she was under the influence of something or she is truely evil. How can she sit there and think anything she said deserved a smile. She is as shady as her boyfriend. I have no respect for either of them. MJ should have NEVER had access to Propofol. I still think Dr. Murray administered the fatal dose, but even if he didn't, he allowed it to happen by not keeping such dangerous meds out of the hands of anyone other than himself.

I feel like Dr. Conrad Murray's live in girl friend Nicole Alvaraz thinks this is a joke. Also, she should be held in contempt for not being truthful.

Man they got all the doctors business out there. All his woman friends and everything thats all bad for all of them lets hope none of them try to make money off of this Sad Case. I'm sure at 150K a month Dr Murray didn't mean to accidently kill his employer He made a bad mistake and he might have started thinking he was the man and that he could do what ever he wanted since he was dealing with the King Michael Jackson. I will be glad when this case is over and justice is served every time I see it on Tv it makes me Sad I honestly think he made some bad decisions and tried to cover them up because he didn't want everyone knowing what Michael was taking. He knew he shouldn't have been administering that to Michael. We will see what happens

Look at the beauty of the women, then look at Murray. These women dated him to try and get close to Michael.

Brandi   October 5th, 2011 1:16 pm ET

These woman dated Dr M for his money! Hell he paid one of them 1000.00 to just sit with him. But in fairness Dr M's love life is not in question here. Dr M's taste in woman is not in question here. Yes they needed to talk to them in court to get some insight on how and when the medicine arrived at his house and talk to the other because she probably was on the phone with him when MJ stopped breathing BUT his relationships with them, how he was dateing them at the same time, it has nothing to do with the case. If he was banging 2 or 3 woman at a time, its not relevant. It is only revelant who received the orders at her house and who was on phone with Dr M at same time MJ stopped breathing.

Dr. Murray is not on trial for his personal life and girlfriends. This is all hype by the D.A office. Try him for the death of Mr. Jackson, get on with the trial.

nicole alverez showed no sadness. wwwhy is she so happy ? i was appauled by her actions. the other girls didn't act that way. she was definately looking for other attention. no remorse, which is funny because the meds werew going to her door. did she sign for it sloppily so noone would recognize her handwriting? so she could hopefully deny it later. she;s just as evil. she was aware of what the doctor was doing, and i know it.

Kathy   October 5th, 2011 1:43 pm ET

i bet he bragged to these girls about being m.j.s FRIEND and doctor first before the girls got close to him. nicole had his baby thinking she was set for life. thats my opinion.i would love to hear what his WIFE knows and thinks about his livliehood. what was he telling her why he was gone all the time? was he paying off his wife too? wherer was all that money going?

birds of a feather flock together. (greed). like attracts like...

BARBARA HENLEY   October 5th, 2011 2:57 pm ET

It's seems there is a good possibility that Conrad Murray was recording Michael Jackson for future leverage just in case MJ did not comply with his wishes for $5 million dollars. Conrad Murray possibly had plans of keeping MJ sedated or " high " so he could control him and have access to MJ's money. It seems Conrad Murray knew MJ was vunerable, sad and lonely. CM's possibly was going to play " THE FRIEND".

Also, Murray claims he was trying to wean MJ off of Propofol?????? Wow!!! How long was he planning for it to take?? That's a hell of a lot of Propofol if you are trying to wean one off of it; don't ya think?????
