Just the fact that Rachel was worried about her make-up only supports the fact that she is just a child. We have all felt jelousy and rage over a first love. (Why over this very unattractive guy, I still don't get) No, we don't all resort to violence...but it seems to me that Josh Camacho provoked all of this...and judging by his demeanor, I can bet money he is walking around bragging how he got two girls to fight to the death over him. He should be indicted for inciting violence/murder. And what about the parents? They seemed to be pointing fingers and not accepting the responsibility for their own child's actions. I don't recall seeing Josh's parents anywhere...even though their appearance might have been omitted from the footage I studied. But like the last post I read, this situation is not just one person's fault...all are to blame, including the parents. I don't care how old your child is, if they still live at home and you get a tax break because they are considered an exemption, then you are RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM. I NEVER respond to things like this, but when I saw the story on dateline, I was disgusted...but not surprised. Our justice system is still not too far away from burning witches or pagan villages. Even with DNA and blood evidence, there is still proof of botches in crime labs...and even if someone has been convicted, and there is PROOF that they should be exhonerated...judges and prosecuters would rather see an innocent man/woman suffer than admit that they were mistaken. In this case...it's one girl taking the blame for MANY people's wrongdoings. When does it end?
It just makes me sad.

BOTH girls are to blame for what happened. BOTH!! Rachel and Sarah BOTH caused what happened. Rachel Wade did not mean to kill anyone! She was only trying to defend herself against FOUR PEOPLE coming at her. She was only trying to defend herself against wekks and months of verbal attacks and threats from Sarah and friends.

Noone deserved to die. However, this should be a lesson for those who are in similar situations. Period. You play around, and throw out all those things, and someone will end up getting hurt.

This is not one sided. This was NOT all Rachel Wade's fault. Sarah was no angel. And she caused much drama to get things to the point they got to. Period.
BOTH girls are to blame and at fault. NOT just one!

WOW so this is really pathetic. Why would you even think about stabbing someone over a guy? And they cant say that she is having some kind of emotional break down because obviously by the voicemails she has left, She is a killer. Her crying, its does nothing for her. She didnt know she stabbed her, Yea right!

These are girls who started dating or having sex at young ages. Emotions (rejection and control) are developed during the teen years. Do you all understand now why parents do not agree with our young men and women dating too early in life? This is what can happen when a person has not developed control of their emotions. Like I told my daughters "Why would you want all the drama, you have plenty of time in your life for drama." I can bet you that this guy is laying in bed with some chick now. He's propably telling her "I was honest with them i don't know why this happen?" And the girl he's with most likely has the same personality or insecurities as the young ladies who have lost their freedom. God be with the families.

This is a tradgey all way around, the young lady was just defending herself, like her boyfriend told her to do, this girl is not lieing.!! let her go, the boyfriend needs help of some kind. this girl will live with this for the rest of her life. i thnk she has suffered enough. this is just a tradgey. I'll bet she never fools with messed up people again. There was something wrong with the girl that died. Let this poor girl go.

This case, and the results, are a perfect example of the lowering of standards that seem to be where we are headed in acceptable behavior between an entire generation of people. This is a sad case no matter how you look at it, but I cannot fault the jury for sending the message that the emails, voicemail messages, and behavior of two young women so obsessed by an arrogant selfish young man that one woman end up dead and another in prison...IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Listening to those who are suggesting that we should condone this type of behavior and write it off as "that's just the way we talk to each other – talking smack – because society has desensitized us" should wake people – and particularly the parents of a generation that would condone this behavior – up and start getting involved.

I believes that Janet and Joshua Camacho are the ones caused all this mess. The Camacho siblings are really a bad influence, selfish and dangerous people that should be on jail. The Camacho's should be the ones on jail, they were the instigators. I think Rachel Wade was hostigated and mentally torture by the Camacho's siblings. Both Ludeman and Wade were just victims of the devil mind of the Camacho's siblings. very surprise of the veredict. SHAME FOR THE CAMACHO'S.

Wade has no remorse, there were times during the trail where she had to force herself to cry even then I believe she cried not because she killed Sara but because she knew her life was over. 20 1/2 yrs? not quite long enough for me. In my opinion she deserved life w/0 parole. Her voicemails said it all. Killing Sara was her intention. I just feel so bad that such a young beautiful young lady lost her life over a guy who is worth less than gum under a desk

It's so sad that a young girl lost her life and now the other one will spend a long long time in prison. Over what this guy that didn't care about either one of them. My heart and prayers goes out to sarah's parents who didn't even get to say goodbye to their daughter.

i dated this jerk a few years ago and i WOULD NOT be in trial for an idiot like him both of these gurls wasted there time on him and one lost her life over foolishness. just a sad story and the person behind it could careless!!!
