There is always is going to be someone whose whole purpose in life is to muddy up the water on any given subject. What on earth would gender have to do with the penalty phase of a trial? The answer is, absolutely nothing!!!

tinaedgar   May 21st, 2010 12:10 pm ET

the child was here16years and the system never ask about the child.but now they ask because the system will get money.for them

michelle   May 26th, 2010 2:20 pm ET

If your husbnand lay flat on the floor dying of a heart attack would you let it be in god's hands or call 911?

michelle   May 26th, 2010 2:22 pm ET

casey anthony would deserve the death penalty IF GUILTY whether man or woman and the system agrees

Jeanette thompson   May 26th, 2010 5:08 pm ET

I was wondering, since a person has to be born into that church, is there a high percentage of incest. They isolate themselves, live in a cocoon, including, home shooling their children. How many surnames are their among "The Followers of Christ?" Abnormal medical conditions can appear normal to that particular person, especially if it is from birth, BUT, never taking Neil to a doctor, in itself a crime, and I know that Jesus will agree.

Sandy   May 27th, 2010 3:54 pm ET

I think the saddest testimony from the mother is "Had I known he was
dying I would not have laid down". Not..." IF I HAD KNOW HE WAS DYING I WOULD HAVE TAKEN HIM TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!" How very sad that this child was subjected to their "Lack of Faith".........

Considering quite a few children and adults alike have died having been subjected to their "Prayer of Faith" I would never want these people praying for me!!!!!!

Sandy   May 27th, 2010 7:01 pm ET

These parents when they asked Neil if he wanted to go to the doctor might just as well have said "Do you want to go to hell?" In his indoctrinated mind, doctors were not of God. He had no choice!!!!! And I don't believe they ever asked him if he wanted to go to the doctor.

Amy Leblanc   May 28th, 2010 11:00 am ET

There is no excuse for the stupidity of these people maybe that religion should be charged also !!! But as a parent believe or no believe my child would never sit there and suffer and I not do anything about it !!! They should suffer in jail!!!!!!

Amy Leblanc   May 28th, 2010 11:03 am ET

I have a similar issue with my bladder and it is very treatable !!! Neil should have NEVER have suffered the severe pain that goes with this !!!! They need to suffer their loss in jail !!!!!

Pauline G Demkowicz   May 28th, 2010 1:43 pm ET

I feel they are guilty for not taking their son for medical treatment. I have been ill all my life, I know if something is really wrong with me. As for Neil, if he had all these illnesses, why didn't they go to a medical book or the local library for information on help. How to treat for these different illnesses. If the father was really ill i'm sure he would try to get help for himself, some how. I also feel they were not feeding him the proper food for his illnesses. Maybe Neil was afraid to say anything because maybe the parents didn't believe him, or how really bad off he was. A son will always tell their parents he loves them, no matter how he is being treated. The father has fake tears for him, there were no tears he wanted you to think their were tears. See how he stopped quickly.

daniel boudreaux   June 23rd, 2010 10:28 am ET

the woman had no rights whatsoever to those children they were not her children. if there was a gun in that car is the big question then the trial is over. self defense.

tammy   June 25th, 2010 10:32 am ET

she killed her cause she was leavin her the kids and everything else was and excuse to kill her

Marilyn   August 10th, 2010 2:16 pm ET

On the witness stand, Jamar Sr. looks like he is the king of the world. He can have as many children as he wants without marrying their mothers. he feels that he has the right to take a life (even if it's his own son's). This reminds me of Honor Killings executed by parents against their children in other countries.

This was premeditated because he brought a gun. Also, he seems like Jamar could have been a gang banger earlier in his life.

Lavonne   August 11th, 2010 12:09 pm ET

My verdict is guilty as charged in the 1st degree. Why? Because Sr. and Karone decided to handle the situation themselves. Yes, they planned and plotted(PREMEDITATED) That was their purpose for not getting the authorities involved.

Melissa in Texas   August 11th, 2010 10:27 pm ET

I'll go one step further and say there was a conspiracy between Karonne and Sr. to kill Jamar Jr. I say that Karonne gave Sr. an ultimatum: get rid of Jr. or Sr. will never see his daughter again. Karonne's testimony (I couldn't believe she was a witness for the prosecution!) and all those camera shots of her in the gallery prove to me that she had something to do with it. Too bad Michigan doesn't have the death penalty like we do down here in Texas. Jail is too good for that monster.

pat   August 18th, 2010 9:27 am ET

I have been to Vegas many times and have never had any problems..Of course I didn't wear 4-karet diamonds and I didn't get drunk and jump out os a vehicle....

sharon   August 20th, 2010 5:59 pm ET

If you've watched Cops in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, you'll hear the cops asking people who pee in the street or take off their clothes if they do that in their hometown....but what Mr. Walker did while there was nothing like this...what would have saved him though if he had a room at the Hard Rock...he could have just been escorted by security to his room and he would have slept it off.....I do NOT blame Mr. Walker for anything that happened to him and hope this doesn't discourage him from visiting Las Vegas, drinking and taking his friends with him....

rosanne   October 16th, 2010 10:57 am ET

hawthrone guilty

Elise Corey   November 18th, 2010 2:13 pm ET

Vinny, are you playing devil's advocate? Ms. Veitch died because she did not have on a seat belt. In my opinion, as much as we know about seat belts today, a death involving an unstrained driver should be ruled as suicide. You might as well play Russian roulette!

donny   November 23rd, 2010 12:28 am ET

hAPPYfor Jim , the verdict was JUST., BUT, what if JIM had a public defender ? IS the law "JUST" , no way , NO money you are going to jailIt might be a good system , but, it is NOT FAIR !!!! by any means
and enforcement officals are not creditable ( some) ..

Debi   February 18th, 2011 11:25 am ET

No I don't feel this is because she is a woman, she is being punished according to her crime. If she is found guilty for killing her daughter, she should face the death penalty. This has nothing to do with her being a woman.

Rosemary Conover   February 23rd, 2011 11:58 am ET

Lindsay's top is NOT appropriate for court. If she gets off today, I am going to begin to wonder why she is being treated differently than everyone else!

akhb   February 25th, 2011 1:10 pm ET

No, just the fact alone that she did not report her child missing for a day, let alone, the many days plus is enough for me but then manufacture a name and try to accuse someone else. Now you would think that her giving birth to a child should compel her to try & turn the world upside down in search of her child but go and party, lie, accuse others, allow that child to have one of the most saddest look on her face then after arrested tears appear (for herself). Were it not for the law that she be enough to put her on the list for the death penalty.

akhb   February 25th, 2011 1:12 pm ET

I would like to know why is this case taking so long. In the begginning they put it off for least a year.

karen stovall-stringer   March 28th, 2011 12:58 pm ET

No. I think Casey Anthony is facing the death penalty because she allegedly murdered her daughter. However, I'm confused on the chloroform. Is chloroform supposed to be a natural by-product of decomposition?

Valerie Barnes   May 15th, 2011 2:07 pm ET

Anyone that would be accused of killing a child, no matter who they are or whose chid it is, should face the death penalty! This crime seems intentional, only the facts of the evidence will point one way or the other. We all must waite for the facts.

Christina VanWey   May 24th, 2011 12:16 pm ET

Hey people, all of you on court TV....did you not hear the judge say:
Casey is presumed innocent? You have already hung this girl just
with the opening statement from the prosecution.STOP!!!!! Let the trial
proceed ...she has not been found guilty she shakes her head
and she cries...sit in her place..what would you do?

Valerie Barnes   May 25th, 2011 3:17 pm ET

Has anyone thought of doing a DNA test on George anthony to see if he is Caylee's father? Or Casey's brother for that matter since it seemed to be an issue at one time, or so it was said? One question that I have always had is "Why none of the people that were supposedly taking care of Caylee did not start looking for her within hours of not knowing where she was? Did Casey let someone "babysit" Caylee on a regular basis? Or was Grandmom and Grandpop the ones that usually kept Caylee while Casey was out?

Valerie Barnes   May 25th, 2011 7:28 pm ET

I think that Jose over-reacted this morning!! After all, it was an "accident"!! What do you think?

theresa depetro   May 31st, 2011 11:48 am ET

I didnt take to george and cindy right away because of caylee missing and nobody asking where she is. Im watching cindy and geaorge testify and cant help thinking TOO LITTLE_TOO LATE!

Valerie Barnes   May 31st, 2011 1:07 pm ET

Do you think that the defence will change to an insanity plea for Casey? We all know that insane does not mean "stupid"! Most insane people are of above average intelligence. Casey may be just crazy enough to think that she can get away with murder; or if it was an accident, a cover-up? In these days of forensic science, how would anyone think that a cover-up would work? Casey sounds too much in control of her emotions while talking on the phone to the 911 operator on the day that Caylee was finnaly reported missing!! It was hard to watch Cindy on the stand today!!

Jeri B   June 2nd, 2011 2:48 pm ET

This is a fight got Casey 's life. Why all the refusals for Mr. Baez ?I I understand most people are against Casey, the facts need
to be brought
out for both sides.

Jeri B   June 2nd, 2011 2:53 pm ET

Casey said in the interveiw why the lies.Casey does not want to face the truth!

Starr Sloop   June 17th, 2011 10:53 am ET

So if the pig, was in the car for 11 days and in cooler weather, Little caylees Body was in Multible Plastic Bags in Hotter weather, Its like she was being roasted in an Oven So therefore More Bodily fluids would accumulate. and a lot of the Flys was removed with the body!!!

betty vuotto   June 17th, 2011 11:07 am ET

if casey didn t work for 2 years what was she doing for money?

Kobi   June 17th, 2011 11:31 am ET

With the questioning of this witness, would difference in climate from Florida to Nebraska certainly make a difference in how fast a body decomposes?

Starr Sloop   June 17th, 2011 11:53 am ET

So How can timmothy Huntington, talk about the insects in the trunk, When he hasn't recieved the vaccuming evidence Insect debree from them yet!!

kathy   June 17th, 2011 12:01 pm ET

i dont think it is up to us to put anyone to death, she will face her MAKER, how ever i am so sick of watching this defence team, she has a lawyer that can't seem to remember what he is saying at times and needs to retire, and another who is winging it, the more i listen the more i KNOW she is GUILTY, she deserves life withut parole, in a prison without tv, radio, etc.. she should be put in a cell with pictures of CALEY covering the walls and only allowed out 1/2 hour a week to shower, I love your show and watch daily with this case and all others, you have a GREAT TEAM:) thank you for your time Kathy, Louisville Ky.

joan risica   June 17th, 2011 12:39 pm ET

casey anthony will not take the stand, motive is not wishing to mother caylee, also to put a knife into her parents hearts, taking caylee away from them forever. her living the good life is all casey wanted.

Starr Sloop   June 17th, 2011 12:40 pm ET

OK After the smell got so bad in the car and also so many flies too. Casey opened up the car shooed all the flys out and then got rid of the body!!!

Starr Sloop   June 17th, 2011 12:43 pm ET

Ashton needs to ask Huntington about the smell in the trunk I believe he said he seen the car and looked in the trunk

Starr Sloop   June 17th, 2011 12:44 pm ET

I hope she is facing the death penalty she deserves it!!!

Casey Anthony   June 17th, 2011 1:16 pm ET

Anyone would try to clean up and signs or a crime. I believe she put the trash in the truck to try to hide the order of decompostion. The weather is between Nebraska and Florida is very different.

jack myers   June 23rd, 2011 1:58 pm ET

The antics of the prosecutor,in my opinion will alienate some people on the jury.I believe, the jury is tired of all the science, and wish to get into the meat.the alleged sexual misconduct of the father, and the lack of his credibility.Iwas a baliff for the last six years of my law enforcement career.I

T.Pearce   June 24th, 2011 10:32 am ET

Would it be grounds for a mis-trail if the prosecution asked Cindy Anthony " are you trying to save your daughter Casey from a guilty verdit?

nancyk   June 24th, 2011 10:55 am ET

Judge Perry just called Cindy Anthony back to the stand....Lets see if Casey's pretend tears start on que again.....and I think Cindy is pretending to cry this time also..i'm sure in the last three years she has looked at the photos and videos of Caylee over and over again...making crying less likely...

Pam Johnson   June 24th, 2011 12:20 pm ET

I don't think he is emotional because of some deep, dark secret, I think it is because he knew she was pregnant because of what he saw, the mom denied it, which was upsetting. They were probably brought up, like most of us, that premarital sex and pregnancy was not right. I have personally had that in my family and was not at all happy when my sister, at age 30, got pregnant without a spouse. If his parents are reading their bible like people keep saying, then getting pregnant at a young age, no husband, no job, would probably be upsetting. Not to mention, there is always some degree of sibling rivalry and he probably thought she was able to get away with alot of stuff.

margie   June 29th, 2011 12:43 pm ET

I also seen Casey smiling after they rested for lunch. She is so cold that I can see her doing this murder she has no feelings for any body but herself.

toni smart   June 30th, 2011 1:16 pm ET

I beleive Casey Anthony was deemed compentent by 3 docters because the defense wants it on record when she testifies today 6/30/2011. She will testify today. And Jeff Ashton will tear her apart. It is my opinion she is guilty of murdering her child, Caylee Marie Anthony. She should spend life in prision without parole. That is a death sentence. She thinks she is arrogant now, women's prisioners hate child killers. They have lost their kids. It doesn't matter if George Anthony actually had sex with that ugly woman in a moment of stress. He is not guilty of helping his daughter dispose of her daughter. Cindy Anthony is the key to the whole family dynamics. Look in her background. Me thinks George was just a middle man trying to keep peace in that family. There are millions of dysfunctional family's out there, but daughters usually don't kill there kids, and throw them away. Its all so sad that the little girl, Caylee Marie Anthony is not here and that she was born into that sad family. Rest in peace Caylee Marie Anthony.

linda a   July 1st, 2011 10:26 am ET

i just watched the kid who flipped off Ash. did anyone else see Casey flip one of the witnesses that was showing pix of Caylee's bones? she was rubbing her face & with her left hand to her cheek, she definitely extened her right middle finger on the side of her face.a look with with it. i was astounded and thourht some one would say something later. Maybe im nuts but it was clear as day to me. take a look see for yourself.

mary lou ornellas   July 6th, 2011 11:59 am ET

My husband and I are just devastated with the verdict..We think the jurists just wanted to get out of there and get home. Also they that didn't want to have to wait 48 hours if they voted for the alternative sentences..
I think that is what was said had she been convicted with murder, or child abuse... Please let me know if I am confused on that point..

Thank you .. May Kaylee rest in peace .. We all love her..

Harold and Mary Lou Ornellas

Charles Beverly   July 6th, 2011 11:59 am ET

WOW what a message that was sent to all of those child abusers. How could this jury find her not guilty for anything after she was the last person seen with the child and she has no explanation about what happen to Caylee that was enough for a conviction for me alone.

dan   July 6th, 2011 12:33 pm ET

The guy from equasearch wants to sue. well the prosacution brought up casey said she didnt need them it would be a waist. so how can they sue and she didnt ask for there help.
point blank she probly did it but prosacution didnt prove it and i think prosacuters laughing and sarcasm was an issue for the verdict

Rena Wigley   July 6th, 2011 12:42 pm ET

Our Justice system is what it is, the jurors did their job and did it well. The circus and frenzy over this case was outside the system, mindful of the lions den and witch burning mentality, Media should not be allowed access to any case until the trial is set and jurors picked. I pray for the Anthony family which still includes Casey for their peace, healing and a semblance of well being and that somehow this will all die down and allow them that.

Teresa Carroll   July 6th, 2011 12:44 pm ET

I just watched you talking with Tim Miller and I say SUE, SUE. I am sure everyone who disapproves of the verdict will totally agree.
Also if Casey Anthony is innocent, maybe the Scott Peterson case should be looked at again. Very similar, don't you think.

Jack   July 6th, 2011 12:44 pm ET

flash flash (1) could she get probation w/ jail time or at least probation for mistameaners and wait for her to mess up and get her to the extreme of violation ?(2) is or could deffense team be askinf for bail today while waiting for sentence tomorrow (3) on deposition she has to giv on cival suit for secret girl friend can she take the 5 th (4) i think mother was trying to help save her life but regretted it after she was not guilty im felony chrges ? hhhmmm !!!

charlotte   July 6th, 2011 12:45 pm ET

The alternate juror, said on "Good Morning America" this morning that Casey was a good Mother and that since she had been lying for 2 years then that was the norm, so that was okay!! When asked how he came to the conclusion that she was a good Mom, he said "because her friends said so"!!! My Gosh, what did he hear?
I sure hope the Texas Equus search goes ahead with a law suit!!! What a traumatic experience for those 4,000 volunteers!!! Especially, when Baez said in opening statements that Caylee wasn't missing!!!!!

susan   July 6th, 2011 12:46 pm ET

heres the thing.... if i wouldve let my grandchild out in back by their selves in the pool{irreguardless of all the other evidence or lack thereof persay...} and they drown in my pool, i would definitely be up for charges of aggrevated child abuse and would no doubt be convicted because i wasnt attending to that child. sorry this probably doesnt make much sense, but neither does this mess.

Michelle B.   July 6th, 2011 12:48 pm ET

No one is elaborating on the fact that there was testimony that DNA disintegrates over time under unfavorable conditions; this is the explanation for lack of DNA evidence on the duct tape.

Samuel DeCamp   July 6th, 2011 1:07 pm ET

If the state did not use the words of HOPE/THEORY OF DRUG OR DUCT TAPE she would have been found guilty but this was a death penalty case which we can not put any one to death on a HOPE/THEORY THIS WAS THE STATES FAULT FOR CASEY TO WALK NO ONE ELSE.

Beth   July 6th, 2011 1:11 pm ET

All i could say the jury let a killer go free no justic for caylee

Mwalimu   July 6th, 2011 1:30 pm ET

I said it way before the trial came to an end that If I was a juror, I would not vote in good conscious to convict Casey. NOT because I believe that she is innocent but because, there were too many ifs and might haves,. To vote to have her killed on such evidence would be a miscarriage of justice. If it was any of these people screaming that she should have been found guilty, I warn them that one day, you will get one of these out of control prosecutors like Ashton, and then you will understand what, proving beyond all reasonable doubt means. Lets use our brains not our emotions.

Claudia   July 6th, 2011 1:33 pm ET

What happened? What was the jury thinking? They were not interested right from the start and they just didn't care, that is why they didn't take any notes, they knew how they were going to vote right from the start. No justice for Caylee.

Barbara J. Peirce   July 6th, 2011 2:18 pm ET

Casey Anthony, a hideous distoration of a human being, is now free to continue to be the parasitic slut she has always been! She will self-destruct and spiral into oblivion! I hope that when he looks into his daughter's eyes every day, Jose Baez sees Caylee Anthony's face!

charlotte   July 6th, 2011 2:40 pm ET

When the jurors got back to their actual homes, I would like to know what their families thought? What a horrible situation to be in!!! HUH?

mary dupree   July 8th, 2011 10:15 am ET

I've got a question. 4 Years adds up to 1460 days less 1043 credit for Casey =417 days=1.14 years, then how is she being released on July 17, 2011?

lalee   August 10th, 2011 11:25 am ET

I don't know if this is the place to say this but..ENOUGH OF WARREN JEFFS!!

malissa   September 28th, 2011 11:35 am ET

im a huge fan of michael jacksons. have been ever since i can remember. Dr. Conad Murray, should be ashamed of himself, if he says he was trying to wing mr. jackson from drugs. if anybody would go back and just really listen to his music, they would truly know that he was not happy, he just wanted to be left alone, the public/media exploited everything he did. he got hooked on drugs, he was truly out of control. this man needed some serious help, and instead of murray helping him, he took his life. and thats awful. Dr. Murray, knew that he should not have been using the drug propofol, outside of the emergency room. i truly do not feel sorry for him. he will have a higher power to answer to, in due time. we all do, love you michael jackson.

dianne   October 4th, 2011 12:23 pm ET

why the Dr didn't tell Micheal Jackson the med is bad and i'am not going to give it to you and why the bodyguard didn't tell the 911 call he know the Dr give Micheal Jackson med and i don't think Micheal Jackson toke the med like other people saying how can he do that and why he want to kill his self and he have kids and his family and if Micheal Jackson did toke the med he didn't know the med going to kill him the Dr know what was going to happen. And why he need all the med 40 bottle what he need that many of vial for what was he going to do with that many vial of bottle. That Dr kill Micheal Jackson

Dorothy McElhannon   October 7th, 2011 3:30 pm ET

Have been watching the Conrad Murray trial from the beginning, and with all the testimony about the IV bag and bottle of Propofol inside it, nothing has been testified to "who cut the bag and who took the propofol out of the bag".? Surely one of the lawyers would want to find out who did it.

carolyn treisch   October 19th, 2011 12:11 pm ET

Why does it matter if MJ gave himself the propofol (or any other drug) or not? Either way...if he did it or if Dr. Murray did it, Dr. Murray still deviated from the standard of care and is guilty. The defense should be basing their case on trying to prove he DIDN"T fall below the standard of care for physicians. (Hard to do...but it is the only defense I can see). Thanks.

Zen Merchant   October 19th, 2011 12:28 pm ET

why does everybody believe conrad murray that Michael Jackson was a drug addict!! how do we know he wanted propofol there is no permission for conrad murray to give Michael Jackson!! his body showed no signs of drug abuse!! also, think the tape that was played with MJ slurring was a part of a set-up to use in court against MJ!! think he killed MJ in cold blood part of a plan to murder Michael Jackson for money!! conrad murray has lied so many times!! 4 years is nothing for the millions he will make for killing MJ!! Michael Jackson was a prisoner in his own home I feel ,, they changed his cell number so no one could return his calls for help! Michael Jackson cried out for help that someone was out to kill him many times!! way too much security to keep everyone away from MJ !! no house phone! "he had one at neverland"! no security tapes!! how weird!! so many lies !! this is all about MONEY!! and is MJ really dead??? who knows???

Ray Hazard   November 2nd, 2011 12:37 pm ET

I think that Micheal MAY have ask Dr. Murray for a larger dose and he would not give it to Micheal, so Micheal may have told the doctor to draw it up and leave the room and he would give it to his self.

marty   November 2nd, 2011 12:43 pm ET

Michael Jackson did not give himself any injection. We are losing the focus here. Dr Murray should have had the appropriate equipment to give the best standard of care to his very rich patient. Michael Jackson should have had a whole crash cart in that bedroom given that he was on so much medication. Money was certainly not an issue here. i did hear insurance? We they trying to get insurance to pay for some of the medical equipment? You look at the whole set up in that bedroom. Empty oxygen tanks, cheap pulse ox, no monitoring equipment a alt. I would be so angry at CM if I was part of the Jackson family. Another note. I heard that MJ was Dr Shopping and that is how he got so many prescriptions, but it looks as though he only used 2 phramacies... CVS and Walgreens. At least that what I could see on TV. Why did they not monitor all the meds given and at what times the refills were given and multiple Dr orders for the same medications?

morgan   January 17th, 2012 1:25 pm ET

In the stewart case, they keep bringing up Duct tape. where is this duct tape? it is not on the reicet.

dan chafe   May 25th, 2012 10:57 am ET

im watching the case about Flo v Kaufman. My Question is the brusing on and in the neck. Could that have happened during the EMS people trying to open the airway?

Carol   August 7th, 2012 12:23 pm ET

The sister probably wanted to stay in good standing with Peterson because of the kids. Anything negative Peterson would have withheld the children which he ended up doing anyway.

rose winters   August 15th, 2012 1:29 pm ET

hard to have any faith in the justice system another murderer will probably go free a double murderer at that common sense tells me he is guilty as charged. his attys are just as sleazy as he is. they also seem to be favorites of in session

Cale Mqt.,Mi.   August 16th, 2012 1:44 pm ET

Isn't the reason this trial started is because of Stacy Petersons disappearance? So Why can't Stacey be at all mentioned in this trial, and i'm sure it's been mentioned but what happend to Drews first two wives?

Patty Guzman   August 17th, 2012 1:13 pm ET

I do believe they didn't do a proper investigation at the time of Salvo's death. I think it was the Sargent's ex wife and didn't go past it any further. I believe he is guilty by his own actions since she died. He had all to gain. Patty from Texas

JW   August 17th, 2012 1:47 pm ET

Did Stacy prune her nails before or after she fell in the tub. HE DID IT. His lawyers always say there is no proof. They Never say he's innocent. Always. There is no proof. Prove he was there. But object to the proof. He did it.

Sue Smith   August 22nd, 2012 1:05 pm ET

Has Drew Petersen ever taken a polygraph concerning both Kathleen and Stacy?

Sherry Couch   August 22nd, 2012 1:48 pm ET

Could have Kathleen Savio been killed in another room and placed in the bathroom afterwards? Maybe she was held under water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks.. I have a feeling she wasn't killed in the bathroom. She might have gashed her head on a facuet as her head was being placed under water, I am sure she put up a fight. Her head being forced might have caused the gash.

tresia woods   August 28th, 2012 1:51 pm ET

i ,know drew live near , but how would he know she was going to be alone that night?

Perhaps somebody has already suggested this to you, but I honestly believe that Ms.Savio had gotten up and got ready for work. She had her glass of orange juice and cup of coffee, (remains found on kitchen counter), She then dresed for work, (necklace still around her neck), and had actually gotten as far as her car in order to leave, (pocketbook on the front seat), Peterson, dressed all in black so he could hide in the shadows, struck her on the head, carried her into the house, and held her head under water until she drowned, (possibly in the toilet) removed her clothes, (clothes he later brought home and placed in washing machine), before placing her in the tub. I have a difficult time imaging ANY woman leaving her purse out in the car or for that matter, then walking around in the nude!!

It was stated that there were signs that Kathleen Savio put up a struggle, Drew Peterson was a cop, cops carry guns. If Kathleen was held at gunpoint there wouldn't have been a struggle. There was also brought up the point about her hair not being put up along with wearing a necklace. Most women would have at least taken off the necklace off to keep it from getting caught in their hair. Why didn't Stacey go to the police about Drew killing Kathleen? HELLO, she would have been telling on a fellow cop! Stacey probably felt she had no place to go. Drew would have degraded Stacey down to the ground to his fellow officers and NO ONE would have believed her.Stacey was young and inexperienced when came to dealing with the evils of Drew Peterson. Sad to say but probably cost her life. Stacey was desperate to get away from Drew and she thought she probably could get away by going to Kathleen's lawyer knowing Kathleen had the same problems with Drew. Stacey probably felt her back against the wall and this was her only way out. Drew has made sure neither woman walked away with anything, better yet THET DIDN"T WALK AWAY PERIOD!!!!!!!

I've been aware of the news regarding D. P. over the years-and I live in the city. Who would they find for a juror who is oblivious-? Today, one of Drew's ex-friends who wore a wire for 7 mos. said enough for me to wonder why the Stacey case isn't being tried already. A man who marries a woman 30 years younger than he is most likely not looking for a peer-we get it. Someone he can have authority over and control. No decent person would kid about killing his wife and making it look like an accident and talk to someone about having her killed for money. No decent person would swagger and act smug before media cameras when he is charged with murder. It really doesn't matter if he testified-what he is is screaming so loud at me, I wouldn't hear a word her said.
