I have never been more disgusted with a district attorney as I'am with Bonnie Dumanis. I also have never written or emailed a comment or opinion until now. I understand that people can make mistakes but this is one of the most disturbing situations and it deeply bothers me that I'am compelled to say something. This attorney should be ashamed and and rethink the way she handles her cases. I can't believe just because someone thinks a person is guilty that there life and the lives of there loved ones can be completely destroyed. My heart and prayers goes out to Cindy and her family. I just hope this case opens alot of eyes in our legal system and district attorneys should be 100% positive when they decide to charge someone with murder and not just think well maybe they did it.

There is plenty of doubt in this case. There just didn't happen to be enough arsenic in the tissue samples. They were perserved in parafin (wax) and we just don't know why they all came back clean/clear of arsenic. There was enough doubt that although Ms Sommer was allowed out of prison, her case remains open and that means she can be charged again.

Really?!
She has to be the most guilty person I've EVER seen! Nothing makes me sicker than a wife who can kill her own Marine husband. He served our country and was braver than anyone who's written on this wall yet, and what does he get? killed. Well lets all give her a high five for being released and pray she doesn't kill her kids too. Everyone watched her get boob implants with his money and sleep around in celebration, what an awesome mom. God can deal with her after he finishes a round of golf with Todd. God bless our soldiers.

She is innocent hands down. Reasonable doubt does not even apply here. There is no doubt that Sommer is not guilty of murder.

what did Todd Sommers die from? have these halfwit investigators done a complete heavy metals and poison screne? this woman IS guilty of homicide, she killed this young man in a very clever and sneaky manner and i gaurantee you the evidence is THERE in his remains. this plastic surgery enhanced murderer thinks she has crawled away- she has not and will pay for her crime- karma will prevail. also if this murderious scum tries to sue for millions i hope and pray that Todd Sommers family sues her in civil court. R.I.P. Todd Sommers

I don't think she left them alone when she went to Vegas.
The state of Florida granted custody of her children back to her after she did everything they told her to do. She WAS getting her life back together when she was arrested. I have no doubt she has grown from this.
I do want to add that I have met her daughter and she is one of the most level headed teenagers I have ever encountered in my life. She is very polite and respectful, not to mention as sweet and beautiful as she can be. Now I know some will say that is because she has been with her grandmother for the past 2 1/2 years but she didn't become that way in just two years.

Now that she is free, hopefully she will now be the mother she should have been to those children. Everyone applauds her getting her family back, yet, during the trials, it was shown how she left her children after the death of her husband to go "drinking, party and gamble in Las Vegas" leaving her children alone with only condiments, beer and bare necessties in the fridge. At one point the state of Florida took her children away.
In some ways, I agree, yes, perhaps she was convicted based soley on her HIGHLY inapproiate actions after the death of her husband. But, that is now over and done. She needs to grab on to this second chance with both arms and try to become a better person, if only for her children. And also bear in mind that the actions she shows her children will affect them forever.

I have had Cindy on my mind so many times since her trial. I could not believe she was found guilty and am so happy for her, her children and her friends and family to have her back.

I was under the impression that Cynthia was charged and convicted based on her behavior alone. It's scary

I think Cindy's fortitude is very encouraging for the other people who have been wrongly accused, tried and convicted. A presiding judge in NJ told me that "they can indict a ham sandwich". I think that his remarks were taken from Law and Order. Was Cindy ever indicted by a grand jury before this travesty of justice? Way to go Cindy!
