NEW YORK — The Feds are launching an investigation into the highway patrol in South Carolina because of this dash-cam video. State troopers using that racial slur that begins with an ‘n,’ and then ramming their cruisers into black suspects.

Jami Floyd delivers the Last Word.

The point of showing you this, and telling you about it on national television, isn’t to bring you more bad news. It’s not to stir up racial tension, it’s not to make anyone angry. We’re showing you this because there are folks out there who think racism is no longer a problem in America, but it is. And nowhere more than in our criminal justice system.

So don’t get complacent because you live next door to a nice black family, don’t feel good about things just because your son or daughter sits next to a black child in school, and certainly don’t kid yourself that the journey to equality is over because a black man is running for President.

‘Cause even if he wins, we still have a whole lot of work to do in America, and this video proves it. And that’s the Last Word.

Of course there’s still prejudice in America. There always will be, unfortunately, we’re human, and humans will always have knee-jerk, ugly reactions to things that they’ve been trained to hate. What puzzles me is why there isn’t the same outrage against one form of prejudice as there is against another. If someone on television uses a derogative word for a black person, there’s weeks of horrified reaction and people coming out of the woodwork to be the first to cry, “Shame!” Use a derogative word for a homosexual, though, and it’s a joke.

Shame on us all.

Yea, maybe when the Bi-Racial Obama whom was raised by his WHITE Mother and abandoned by his BLACK Father, will see to it that Racism committed against WHITE people gets the same attention. Being 50% White and 50% Black he will see to it that the WHITE citizens of the USA gets the same attention and outrage when they are targeted because of the color of their skin. Duke Lacrosse ring a bell Jami?
