I BELIEVE THAT BOBBY CUTTS DO DESERVE THE DEATH PENALITY. THERE CHILD DIED BY THE HANDS OF HER FATHER. SO WHAT HE CRIED, SO WHAT HE SAID HE WAS SORRY. BUT IS THAT GOING TO BRING THOSE 2 PEOPLE LIVES BACK. NO ONE DESERVED TO DIE BY THE HANDS OF ANOTHER. BUT WHEN A PEROSN TAKES A LIFE IN THIS CASE 2 LIVES HE NEEDS TO GIVE IENCOUNT FOR WHAT HE DID.

Even thou he killed two people, his girlfriend and his unborn child , i dont agree with the death penalty. I think is a bigger punishment to live with this fault for the rest of his life. I pray for both families because they are the ones sufferin, for his children not bein able to have their father, an for blake loosin mother and father. But i also pray for Bobby Cutts Jr. because is gonna take a lot for him to be able to live with his conceious. But God is great an mighty an only thru him everyone will be able to coped with this.

I think they should of given Cutts a Death sentence, not 57 yrs, then eligible for parole. He took 2 lives, he should have to pay that with his own worthless life. I don't feel that Justice was served. They were too easy on him as far as I'm concerned. Who cares that he was a Police Officer, He still is a MURDERER, he should of gotten the Death Penalty.

I honestly feel he is sorry for what he did. Anything at any given time things happen. I am sorry she died along with her baby. People panic and dont think. It was wrong what happened. What is really sad is lives were lost. No one knows the truth but bobby and Jessie. It could of been an accident and he panicked. He left his young son alone which was wrong. I am glad his life was spared.

Maybe one day her family can forgive. the power of forgiveness is awesome. We are not God and we are not to judge. I dont believe in the death penalty never have. He wil have the next 57 years to repent for what happened. First he must forgive himself..

Sad case all around, a bunch of sad cases, Jensen case, Scott Peterson, the other Peterson guy (who may have killed all of his wives), Cutts Jr., each tragic, each shattering the lives of so many people, so senseless. Anytime a case goes into our legal system which involves violence or homicide the single most important factor in determining how it should be tried is the intention behind the action. Did Mr. Cutts want to kill this woman and her child? In light of his marital situation and the fact the he faced greater scrutiny and legal action for fathering another child, I'm sure the thought crossed his mind. I think he basically felt like his back was up against the wall, with no way out, except to kill two people. In my opinion he should have received life in prision with no opportunity for parole, that would have been the just thing to do. As to some of the people who posted about him not being there for his other kids, that was his choice, not anyone else's, and if I were his kid, and I knew he murdered my mom, I doubt I'd ever see him.

I think he needs a life sentence without parole! He can sit the rest of his breathing days thinking day in and day out about what he did. Saying sorry does not bring her or the baby back! They need to put him away for good, and have him sit there and look at her picture to remind him daily of the two lifes he cut short!!

An example of the potentially completely inconsistent application of the death penalty: In Wisconsin, Mark Jensen was just sentenced to life without the possibility for parole for premeditated murder of his wife after a long period of emotional and physical torture. We are now discussing putting to death a man whose actions were no more or less heinous -- premeditated murder. How will this country respond to African-Americans who argue that the death penalty is unfairly applied if, indeed, Mr. Jensen's life is spared by an all white jury and judge and Mr. Cutts is put to death by an all white jury and judge?

the death penalty is a perfect example of the corrupt society we live in today. sentence him to life in prison. living in a small jail cell for the rest of your life knowing you ended your "lovers" and future daughters lives is far more just and torturous than just killing him instantly.
